Shot in the largest Vietnamese community in the Czech Republic, the film uses documentary footage to tell a fictional story about migration and identity.
GIANG NGUYEN is an independent filmmaker living in Germany. Before starting to study filmmaking at University of Art Kassel, Giang was trained to be a bioinformatician and therefore he developed a deep interest in the fundamental questions of science and philosophy. Childhood memories and feelings of drifting between places or identities are important materials in Giang's practice.
